What is PakHomestay?

PakHomestay is a community-driven tourism platform that pairs travellers with local families. Our hosts open their homes to visitors, offering an authentic experience of the area’s culture and hospitality. Revenue from your stay goes directly to the host household, helping to strengthen the local economy.

How do I book a stay?

Use the search bar on our home page to enter your destination, travel dates and number of guests. Browse the listings and click "Book Now" on the property you prefer. You will be guided through the reservation process and receive an email confirmation once your booking is complete.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept major credit and debit cards, online bank transfers and selected mobile wallets. All payments are processed securely.

What is your cancellation policy?

Each host sets their own cancellation policy, which you can review on the listing page. Generally, cancellations made more than 72 hours before check-in are refundable, minus any service fees. If you need to change or cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

Is transportation provided?

Transportation to and from the property is normally not included. However, many hosts can help arrange a taxi or guide for you. We recommend discussing transport needs with your host ahead of time.

How safe are the homestays?

Your safety is our priority. Each host and property is vetted before appearing on the site. Hosts follow local regulations and health and safety protocols. Always communicate openly with hosts about any concerns and follow local travel advisories.

How can I contact my host?

After your booking is confirmed, you will receive your host’s contact information. You can message your host through our platform or use the provided phone number or email. Hosts are happy to answer questions about their property, local attractions and logistics.

How can I support local communities?

Choosing a homestay supports the households you visit. You can further help by purchasing locally made goods, hiring local guides, respecting cultural customs and minimizing environmental impact during your travels.
